fuck yeah! as a bass guitarist (yes, not bass, bass GUITAR), i listen 2 Yes all the fuckin' time. not only do i like his CHOPS(!!!), but i really dig Heart of the Sunrise for that melody, it's 1 of the prettiest i've ever heard (Claude Debussy meets Robert Johnson).
@CE750 Geddy Lee is on record about consciously moving toward a Squire sound so buying a Rick. That said, he's not really played one regularly since the late '80s have gone through an awful Steinberger & Wal phase before sounding great again on his signature Jazz.
@hungryhippos41 They are great players fore sure and JE influenced CS a lot but I just get some physiological reaction to Squire - just hearing a note from him makes the hairs on my arms stand-up.
tempus fugit has a better bass part and thats not even a solo

It just occered to me that Squire is a big guy. He dwarfs that Ric, it looks like a guitar on him. When Geddy wears a Ric it's bigger than he his.

@vyse75 you notice (besides his Fender Jazz) that Geddy Lee mainly plays a Rickenbacker? That speaks volumes about your hunch.

he's quite old. it's not easy to stay young when you're 62. but it's great that he's still young in his heart. great man.
