Great review, just an obsevation, music is loud and distract from your comments. Otherwise very informative and clear right to the point. You should go ahead and do more reviews as appear very profetional. Thank you.
I like it but for one thing, no external safety lever like the 1911. I would prefer it did have that feature, if for no other reason than a little more comfort factor while carrying. It worked fine when I carried a 1911 as an MP and no problem. And I enjoyed the music....
Hi Dave - I'm a great fan or Ruger's. I have the P89, P95, P90, P345, plus various revolvers & .22's. The only problems I have is working on them (i.e. little tiny springs, & the way things are held together). Do you still have P90? How many rounds to you have thru it & same question for the P345. I like the P345 better for same reasons you stated. What has been your greatest problems? Thx Dave. Sincerely, JAMES.
wolf sucks for all calibers and i too own this p345 and have fired a shitload of reloads through it too... no problems..ive fired it dirty..no problems ever.. good quality affordable pistol. love it.
Great review. I don't know what peoples' problem with the music was. It was perfect. When the slide slammed shut and the decock brought the hammer down it was the perfect "Rock and Roll" point in the song. :-)
yea, I liked the review, but that music is annoying. Dont add music anymore to any future reviews. We dont look up these videos to hear bon jovi, we want to see whats up with the gun, but I do appreciate your time in making this review :)
I have the same pistol. I have had no issues with mine either! Always reliable!! You should have given them a brief moment to show how quickly you can field strip this weapon. It literally comes apart in seconds!
Very informative. The fade in and fade out were good. The music was too loud at the end and I had to turn up the speakers to hear you. Video did help me decide to purchase one.
The key (ignition) on the firing mechanism is genius, yet its just another thing to go wrong. Im trying to decide between a 1911 or a polymer version.
Dave I have a question. You said get rid of Wolf ammo. .I have a Ruger P90 and I carry Wolf ammo and use it for target practice and have never had a problem with it. I've had my P90 for almost 10 years now and it's never jammed once. Why do you not like Wolf ammo and how does it affect your gun?
@protraxion SOOOOOO....what was the point of that background music??? At times all I was able to hear was you mumbling. Oh, and don't be so monotone and for pete's sake....SMILE, YOU ARE ON CAMERA !!!
Good video review. Very informative but the music was a bit loud and distracting as I was trying to listen to what you were saying. The gun looks like a great value 45.
Nice review, ammunition comments a plus. Might have wanted to pull the slide and barrel just to show ease of disassembly. Im sold though, getting mine asap.
This pistol has a really nice feel in your hand and looks great. however when I had mine I did have some problems with it. #1, the sights are not easy to move around or change out,(there arent alot of options for different sights) #2 when the slide was locked back and a full magazine was inserted the slide catch would disengage and load the gun w/o the operator depressing the release (thats never good, doesnt happen with all just some) #3 some parts seemed to have some slop in them. when shaken
i have a p345 and the only ammo i had a problem with is winchester white box stay away from it but all around a great gun for a great price i see them goin for $350 now
DON'T THINK ''DO'' BACK IN THE 80's I FIRST HELD THE P-89. AND ALMOST PUCED ALL THAT POWER AND A DOG SHIT GRIP. I DID'NT BUY ONE, I GOT A P-92 9 MM AND REGRETED IT. I'LL SACREFICE CAPACITY FOR STOPING POWER ANYDAY. ANYWAY THE 345 IS A MUCH BETTER MODEL THAN THE 89 MUCH SLIMER, GET THE POLYMERE FRAM JOB ITS A FEW OZ.S LITER. I USUALY SHOOT ABOUT 30 TO 35 FT. BUT IVE SEEN REAL GOOD HITS OUT TO 80 FT. THE FEDERAL STAT. FOR A DEM. GUN BATTLE IS WITH IN 14 FT
I'm thinking about purchasing the Ruger p345 as my first .45 pistol but I'm a little scared of accuracy. I had a p89 and it had the long trigger pull and I hate the squared handle as well and it was very inaccurate but it was reliable. I do own a few rugers still, like my LCP and a 10/22 and I was going to purchase a 1911 but I think this pistol would be just fine and probably cheaper.
its a good video. i myself have a ruger kp 345 pr and the blazer brass is what i shoot at the range, i do carry everyday and keep it loaded with federal hydrashocks. i see we have a lot in common about the ammo choices and quality assurance that the gun offers us. I love my ruger and am glad to see a video that isnt a general review and take down tutorial as there are a bunch of them. maybe now you can show us some action at the range or something. job well done sir.
Sorry about the music, being to loud.

your presentation style is great, but i don't like the fadeaways.

That particular model is not a decocker only model. If it was the decocking lever would have returned to the upright position as it is spring loaded.
I agree with everyone else, lose the music.

I made an auto pistol that looked like that except it wasn't as thick because i was using some strange metal that didn't need any more.

This review would be just fine if it wasn't for the overwhelmingly loud music. Your voice is barely audible.
