I have ED-E and Boone right now. I'm currently looking into Veronica, who's better? and why?

I know Veronica can use power armor and her power fist is pretty OP, but on my first few play throughs she would constantly get killed by cazadors (I think that's how you spell it) as well as Deathclaws (which isn't much of a surprise since no companion can take a few deathclaws by themselves)

@spiffiestpownu well yeah, its basically having to go to certain places, like when you went to the Vertibird he should have said something about he hasn't seen one in a while, that means that you "Activated" the spot and im pretty sure that there is 4 in all but you only need 3. Idk if McCarran is one of the spots or not for sure but i don't think that Repconn is one, try the Silver Rush in Freeside, i know that thats one for sure, if you need more help then just go to the fallout wiki on Google

I would get lily and ED-E. Boone is good and all if you give him NCR Veteran Ranger Armor and a Anti Material Rifle in good condition otherwise he is only good against people he sucks against deathclaws but he did kill the alpha male deathclaw for me with a hunting rifle so i guess he does a great job in battle on a good day.

Actualy, Boone Killed his Wife, if you get close to cottonwood he Will tell: "I... Alredy has been here..." Wen he looked at the camp, he saw his wife, tied to a stake ( I think), and the only thing that he could do... alone, with the only thing between he and his wife was the distance and his weapon, he killed her, so she won't suffer in the hands of the Legion, That explains why he is so cold with the player, even beeing a companion.

Veronica is a really good companion once you complete her quest and give her some powerful armor. And of course Rex is pure badass.

Kill an NCR soldier (Or find a NCR uniform.)

Wear his/her uniform, and talk to him, make sure that you put the uniform back on when you want to talk to him or else he'll ask you to stop working against the NCR, the second time, he'll leave.

@xHADERZx Try going to vault 22, repair and use the elevator there (Repair 50) as it forces the game to check for your companions and sends them right to you after you use it, this is the only fix for disappearing companions.
