@miketj4l Yeah your not kiddin. I looked at a 93' W-150 last summer, mind you it was almost fully restored, but the guy was asking $7500, had 300 000km. I've got a 91' Power Ram 150, with a 318 / 4spd thats got 360 000 on the clock, but I want to get a diesel for a bit better fuel mileage, I get maybe 8-10mpg LOL.

Gauges are not a waste of time !!!! they're one of the most important things on a diesel!

POD injectors have the incorrect spray angle for the 1st generation piston, they're designed for more of an industrial application.

Hence the reason they run smokey and HOT (meaning egt's).

YOU CAN RUN PODS, they're cheap and provide much more power potential over bosch 190's.

But you need an EGT and a boost gauge.....

Bosch 190s will give you some more clean power, but not as much HP as pods...

a i just bough a clutch from FL USA it is a 4 buton clutch from eaton clutch supply it cost 517.00 canada... and ya no gauges do you think a person really needs them??

umm yea. don't put injectors in or touch your pump until you get at least an EGT gauge mounted Pre-turbo..

POD's are dirty hot running injectors, egt's are gonna be sky rocket once you get those in. Get an EGT/boost gauge.

Ask me how i know about the POD's. very hot/smokey

To get the EGT down you need a bigger turbo...but you won't even know what the egt's are then if you don't get a gauge.

Get some Dynomite Diesel stage 4 injectors...same power as pods but they run cleaner and cooler. because they have a 5 hole spray pattern

ya i got a fuel pin from PDR diesel in BC canada the star wheel is down the whole way a K&N air filter soon getting a set lucus POD injectors 53 rwhp just got a new clutch that will hold up to 500 HP and 900 FPOT so thats it so far oh soon getting the 16 cm housing and the HX35 turbo and thats it lol
