that was way to mush crap and no efficient enough. first of all its not automatic, second, all you needed was that one part where the cobblestone is mined, the extra stuff is irrelevant, and third, anyone could make that 1 part you needed in a dirt hole. not really helpful, sorry

I can make one in 4 seconds! Dig a 1x4 hole that's one deep, then dig a block that's one block away from the edge of the hole. Place your water on the end that is closer to the hole you just dug. Place lava on the other side. Done.

I would of loved to see an actual blueprint for this. Trying to follow your pictures when you keep fast forwarding makes for blurry frames to go by when you're trying to be exact.

It's a shame these youtube tutorials are 10 minutes long, fail to give you as good as a grasp as looking at a blueprint for 10 seconds.

Mods to this, use inverted pistons x 3 and a repeating circuit to fire them, use an and gate with a manual switch to turn them on and off...works in minecraft 1.1 NZ with 5 repeaters set to max time....stand underneath and chip away....
