@nsgfilms4u - this camera does NOT take videos, movies, film, or record any kind of movement - fully auto just means you have no control over the settings.

@runasunm - no, this camera is a waste of time & money. For the same price get a top-of-the-line point&shoot digital camera OR invest an extra $300 and buy a real dSLR such as the Nikon D3100...

This is cheap and cheerful camera. I had one and sold it but now I want it back. It got EF lens mount so all EF lenses will fit. used on ebay could cost about 140 pounds.

Can someone tell me if/how it can be set so you can view the display before photo is taken? That is possible, right? Or it only shows photo preview after* it was taken?

I mean so you can see what you are shooting on the LCD.

There really is no need for live view.

I have a Canon 350d, 50d, and XS.

the XS and 50d have live view and i never use them. the noly time i use live view is in low light, i then switch to live view to focus (manual focus) with the magnifying button. the magnifying button magnifys live view by 5 and 10x. really thats the only time i use live view. to me its just a waste.
