His songwriting was never awful, at any point in time and to back that up all you have to realize is how long he has been in the profession, if you're too blind to see that then you are far too unintelligent to carry on the conversation with.

His commercial appeal (not his talent) kept him in the business. But is his work artistically viable? Not at all. Every one of his albums is characterized by run of the mill, fast-food songwriting. As for influence, I won't deny that he's encouraged a new generation of metal bands, but that isn't necessarily a good thing, as a majority of the metal bands out there that swear by Ozzy are absolutely awful.

All in all this song isn't that great. I'm not coming here just to talk crap about this, I was just watching wulfe play it and decided to come to the defense of Sparkeh. Good thing it is a drum computer because any drummer that actually plays like that blows, but my biggest problem are the vocals. (or lack there of) Some of the operatic stuff is ok, but the screaming is horrible. As for guitar, he just plays over the blast beat. The lead isn't too good either, it's just some SEMI-decent tapping.
