What happens if Obama CANNOT produce a valid "birth certificate" showing where he was born? Wouldn't the burden of proof be on him to prove he is eligible? I would think that if he can't prove he is eligible, then he cannot serve as POTUS. Where am I wrong?
What the HI health department officials verified is that they have the valid one, so I think it is obvious that he CAN produce it, but he does not want to. It likely would not back up the line he has been feeding everyone. I think the Supreme Court should make him prove eligibility. It is in their hands and out of ours and I really don't know what they will do with it.
They probably won't touch it with a ten foot pole. After Bush v Gore, they don't need this. I guess if I enroll my kid in Little League baseball, and they ask me for his birth certificate, I'll hire three law firms (not 3 attorneys, but 3 law firms), spend around a million dollars in legal fees, and fly to where my son was born and have the Governor of the State seal the records. Then I'll just say that the requesting of the birth certificate to prove his eligibility is a "bunch of garbage".
