Wow.... She is a queen of song.... every Chinese know her.... China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, you name it... is there any Chinese in the world didn't know her???
I am addicted to Teresa's angelic, haunting, intoxicating voice & prefer her than Zhou Huan. She is more touching & soothing. No doubt Zhou Huan was a great singer but her voice was seemed a bit strange to me, very old fashioned!
I am loving it. These oldies with Teresa's voice just greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. Can't get any better. Sorry for anyone comes after her. Thanks for posting.
To be honest- this is the first time I enjoyed a Chinese song ever - we the 'sons' of pioneer expatriates in North America have never seen or heard anything like this because most of ancestors came in the 1880's.
After the 2nd world war we heard melodies and songs that were in mandarin but we were oblivious to it until now; Youtube has changed all that. Thank you Youtube
@leega8010 ,You may largely have Teresa Teng to thank?Thanks to my Chinese wife,I discovered this wonderful songstress.Teresa's work jumped out at me.I liken her to western masters of music,she stands amongst the greatest that have ever lived regardless of genre.
Very lucky we have the opportunity to listen 3 evergreen songs today.
Awesome and spell-bound by her.
She will forever lives in our hearts.

好歌!以前的歌,有曲有韻,有文學,有內涵,真令人百聽不厭,以前任何一個年代的流行曲,我都可以接受,今天的流行曲我就接受不了,今天的流行曲,沒有曲,沒有韻,沒有文學,沒有內涵,已失去了中國文化的韻味,聽一次已難受,聽多幾次重慘過受刑!

三曲俱為亡國歌女之聲。想當年國民黨在大陸無能貪瀆失政，可憐貧苦百姓流離失所，迫於生計，只有將女兒賣入妓戶娼門。可憐被賣女兒唱出無奈之音。廣大中國人民那得不被深深感動。

@11chanse 周璇沒有受過正統的聲樂訓練, 唱功不能與曾到日本深造的鄧麗君相提並論, 不過《天涯歌女》與《四季歌》確是稍嫌「現代化」, 少了三四十年代老上海風味, 張燕唱這兩首歌的意境就遠遠超越了周、鄧二人。

我也沒聽過完整的十聲過; 不過照理說應該是有的,但因為如要唱完十聲,勢必要超過半個鐘頭,快一個小時了; 演唱會無法這樣,其他歌就無法唱了所以鄧麗君才會唱到第三聲而已,其他唱組曲; 我想應該是這樣的。

@pych02 嘆十聲是形容詞, 此處的 "十聲 " 代表 "多 " 的意思, 並不是真的嘆十聲,唱十遍. 而且一般歌曲重復第二遍, 至多到第三遍, 所以你也只能聽到第三嘆 !
