Listening to it the drums aren't that heavy at all! Low pitched toms, but the bass drum isn't especially hard or heavy and neither is the snare. You made it up!

Pretty much any heavy metal band will have a harder drum noise, sorry to disappoint! Put on some Machine Head, Pantera or (late) Priest for heavy drums
