  • did you made all the drum with the stave method?

  • @SuperMarttin Yes the whole set is stave shells i made except for the left snare which is a Premier.

  • @SuperMarttin thanks for the respond, what wood did you used? I made myself a snare with inciense a hard wood. regards from argentine.

  • Awesome job! And i came up with a name for your next medley.... A DRUMatic turn of Events!

  • clear octobans=nice touch

  • what AMAZING cover!!!!.... I'm really really impressed!!!!.... YOU ROCK!!!! awesome!! congrats!

  • well done but. stop make this stupid face. you play good but. u doesn't make a... ahmm u make stupids faces

  • 3:58

Mike portnoy? Way too easy for Jeff ;)

  • 3:44 - what is it? my friend told me that is splash but up side down. is it true?

  • @Adamkooooooo No it's an LP ice bell, iI think it's a 6 inches. It cost me around 30$ two years ago. If you have an old crash that is cracked, you can cut all the material and keep only the bell. This is what Gavin Harrison did to build his chimes that sounds amazing.

Anyways, thanks to ally of you for your wonderful comments, and thanks for watching.

  • @JeffrayFiset aha is it something like sabian radia cup chime? and do you know what mike portnoy use? lp ice bell or something else?

  • Perfect man...I really don't like Portnoy that much...but this was simply perfect!!

  • wow jeff tight playing man! classy with all the angles too, you can always see everything that you're doing, makes for an entertaining video!

definitely some intense focus to play a piece like this, well done!

    cheers

    matt

Great Job Man Love the DruMedleys! Keep it up.

  • Your playing is awesome!

Is the left side crash a Paiste Signature?

  • No it's aN 18 inches paiste 505

  • @JeffrayFiset: Wow, I knew 5o5s sounded good, but I didn't think THAT good! :D

  • fantastic kit

    how much it cost???

  • I don't know I didn't bought it... I made it!

  • @JeffrayFiset

    eheh yes...

but you've got a lots of cympals, tom, ecc... and they aren't cheap!

    anyway, great kit!

  • wow gotta love your drumkit.

  • 5 stars. Absolutely 5 stars.

  • I know how much work it is to make a drum video, all has to be recorded, than multi angle views and sound recording and if you kmake one mistake you can start from zero again. I totally appreciate you work!!!

  • Thank you very much. Yeah it's very hard to put together something like this.

  • Thats why I totally respect your work!!!

Its not just the Great drumming, but also the great video editing whichh makes it so cool to watch this!!! You definetly deserve more views!!!

  • Awesome man! So epic!

  • Sick, man=)

  • 2:37 that so somthing MP would do on a DVD. Lol in fact i think he did on live scenes from New York.

  • Nice change at 1:47

  • Great job man! Mind if I ask how long it took you to get this medley down note for note?

  • I can't wait for your new covers of Black clouds and silver linings album ;D +5

  • Me too!!!

  • great performance !!!

  • Just Grate!

  • Quel talent! vraiment bravo et super drum ;) parfaite grandeur :)

il faut que tu fasse d'autres vidéos de drum, tu fais vraiment du bon travail, lâche pas ;)

  • wow that was awesome dude..

hey btw how do you mute the drum sound?

your drum sound totally cover the original drum sound..

  • No I didn't muted anything. You can hear it on some snare hits, it sound like flams because i'm not exactly on time with Mike.

  • Wow! Toujours aussi impressionnant! As-tu plus de temps libre pour un éventuel Tribute à Dream Theater dans la région de Montréal?

  • hey man what kind of hi-hats are those? they sound sweet!!! and awesome playing by the way

  • Sabian AAX 14" hi hats,Dont know if there studio or stage hats though.

  • Yeah, 14" AAX Stage hats, according to his user page. It has all his cymbal specs on them.

I use the same hihats, and they are very sweet. Mine are from the mid-nineties and have a very 'vintage' tone to them. I highly recommend them.

  • Yeah, I tried many HH mid 2003 before I bought this aax stage hat and I was seeking for a crisp, loud, vintage Hat that has not too much "ring" that comes from the bell. My previous hat (the right one on this vid) has way too much ring, or overtones that came from the bell, even if you play on the edge and I was really annoyed by this. That's why I decided to choose this amazing 14" Aax Stage hat which is amazing.

  • Mine do the same thing...is there any way to solve that short of buying new ones as i am broke

  • What can i say but BRILLIANT !!!!

    Your sooo good...

    10/10 Thanks for share

    Laney

  • AMAZING! I'm really happy with the clipping and the outro (SS) was a perfect loop around! You should perhaps do TOT, I know I'd love to see it! What is your next project?

  • Of course i'm considering doing TOT, but i'll probably work on Black clouds and silver linings when it'll be out in june...

Thanks for watching and i'm glad you aprreciated how this medley was built. See Ya ;-) Jeff-Ray
