yea a direct link for our lazy asses. i'm so impressed with the bluetooth networking. what I like about J2me is it brings back gameplay to the forefront like back in the days of 16 console gaming.
Hi! You can download the full version from the links in the info box (I made it freely available). If you can't get it to work, let me know what phone you have.
My phone (a Samsung SGH-T639) is currently offline because I haven't been able to pay the bill in a while. I've just been using it as a music player or casual gaming (for when I'm in a waiting room or something). If I can't install it from my phone, then I won't be able to get it until I get my phone online again. I don't have a data cable, only a memory card. I can't seem to find a way to get it to work.
When it was released (as Jet Set Racing, with totally different graphics) is was a good game and nothing else really came close (pseudo 3D on really, really old phones, Bluetooth multiplayer, etc.) But now, since phones have proper 3D hardware, heaps of storage and more CPU power than they know what to do with, it's no longer impressive. I wrote it, by the way.
How to make a the level i can import tiles and edit sprites but i cant insert the created thing in the game and i cant make the AI what program to use
Hi! To put new tracks into the game use the 'Combine' button on the Exporter tool to create a '.trk' file, for example '0.trk', and place this inside the game's jar file. For custom sprites you need to choose the 'Export Karts, Sprites and Backgrounds' from the Exporter and replace the 'ksb.dat' file in the jar. For the AI you need to use Adobe Illustrator to draw out track segments and rough racing lines. I will write a tutorial explaining all of this, but in the meantime I hope this helps!
thanks i have the game from long time but i didn't know that there are such a programs to edit it and if someone want's to edit the sprites use Macromedia Fireworks
I dont think its downloadable from my operator... I only live in Finland which only hosts the worlds leading mobile phone factory. So I dont think I can download it on my phone here. Anyone think a Nokia 3220 can even handle that game?
I'm not exactly sure whether it'll work on your 3220 although it does work on other older Series 40 handsets (that's a 6230 in the video). As for operators, it was available in Finland when it was launched earlier in the year but I don't know about now.
i want to know can you make a track and if you can how OR if i can't make a track can i download some tracks and if i can how to add them on my phone

bigredswitch, i LOVE this game and have the demo of it on my HTC phone.
No matter how much i've looked i can't find a full version of this game anywhere. Even on forums and pay for sites.
Can you help me get my hands on a full copy please?
thanks man!

Hi! You can now download the full versions from the Google Code page (the link is in the info box on the right).
For your HTC (and if the demo ran at a decent speed for you) choose the 6630/K750 version. Hope you enjoy!

This game was written in 2004, which as far as I know is before mobile V-Rally. When you've written something better, let me know.

programmers get their name out by writing software. people should only use a game maker if they are an artist and cant find a programmer.
