i was driving my nitro rc today a thunder tiger tomahawk st and i think i over filled the fuel tank so i started it and it went full throttle lookerly i was holding the spoiler so it dident crash but know it wont start the glow plug was bright red so thats burnt out and when i press the throttle nothing happens but the wheels turn any advice anyone

hey, i tried to tighten th enut on the spur gear, and the spring like thing would un-tighten it. what should i do?? :(

@sukhdip1997 If you try to tighten it, why would it Loosen? unless you are turning it the wrong way?

Hey umm now im starting to look for the drive cuffs or wutever they are, i found them in the front but could not find a hole to tighten it up please help

Ugh, i'm new to nitro rc.. i was just driving the other day it worked fine then it stopped and it kept revving... then i started to look if there was rocks in the gear nothing, and everything looks fine..

@VideosOfTodayTV Might be the Grub screws in the Drive cups loose. Check n Tighten/replace

hey i tried to tighten the nut and i held the gear and after i tighten it the spring pushed the nut back out wards and so i cant tighten it

@sukhdip1997 You've got to hold the spur gear and then tighten up the Slipper clutch :)

@jthornley12 my spur gear appears to be shaved down so they arent so much spurs now they look pretty flat and i think thats why mine isnt working but i dont know why or how they would have gotten so shaved down do you have and ideas on  how thats happens thx

@ZpG1996 Usually when your gear mesh is set wrong or been driving on rough ground for a while :D replace it and all will be good

hi i have this problem i have tightened the drive cups and my nitro car hasn't got a slipper clutch the gears are fine plz help me, it is 4 wheel drive

@jthornley12 i changed the clutch shoes no difference, but i have found that the gears still move when it is on the floor so it must be the rear differential, i unscrewed the diff and found that the gears were not always meshing any tips to fix this thanks!

@minileafe Replace the gears in the diff, bearings and other stuff :) or just buy the whole new diff box. Sometimes its easier to do that with Diffs

hi i own a 'hpi nitro rs4 rtr3+ evo' and i have the same problem, my wheels spin overground but not on the ground. my engine head cooler has a small crack in it. can that also be the reason why it is not moving ?

hey my nitro truck runs good and everything and i just put new clutches and clutch bell in (i have replaced them before so i dont think that is the problem) but the wheels spin when i hold it off the ground but as soon as i put it on the ground the engine dies i have tried also by holding the throttle and letting it go and it will go fine on the ground until u let off the throttle...any idea whats up? thanks

looks like a slipper clutch problem. Make sure the nut is tight and that the slipper pads are still good. If badly worn, replace them. Make sure the slipper assembly is put together the right way.

@jthornley12 i tighten that i cant get the cover off were the gears r and it stalls out when i put it on the ground and rev it then it stalls

@TheEngineBoy The stalling is a tuning problem. Lean out the Low speed needle a little to stop it stalling. You should be able to tighten it using pliers without removing the cover.

@TheEngineBoy Ok then, seems it is your clutch. Remove clutch bell and check your clutch and the spring also, is ok :)

@TheEngineBoy Ok- If its the clutch broken, then the engine will stall when you break. start your car, and see if when you brake does the engine stall. Tell me that and then if it does, that means it is your clutch or spring. If it doesn't then it is something else :)

@heavyDandthehomeboys Pause the video at 4:03 Simply remove the gearbox cover, and tighten it clockwise using pliers. No it only slips when you crash, so that the drive shafts and gears don't get stripped.

It also could be your rear or front differential. I just replaced my diff.gears on vrx-1
