Most shows that have an unnamed character never reveal the name because apparently it would never meet up to the audience's expectations. I think Seinfeld had one of the craziest and possibly hardest characters to name and proved that they could. Cosmo was the perfect name. It was off the wall, and the alliteration of Cosmo Kramer made it even funnier.

Plus, the reveal was unexpected and so funny the way Babs just blurts it out.
