Hello Steffen - I think that a 1 minute rotation is too fast, and unnecessarily difficult to make. I know Breguet made them like this but I think he was just showing off as he did so often. His best watches with an echappement naturelle had a tourbillon of 4 mins rotation. What do you think?
Hello, I agree, but see, I favor this special Tourbillon like designed by manufactories, settled in this famous town Glashütte in Saxony, Germany, or there at the DUS (Deutsche Uhrmacher Schule) manufactured by the students.
me gustaria obtener un ejemplar de ese libro pero soy de mexico, me pudiera ayudar para conseguirlo?...de antemano gracias, seria la version en ingles.
@spahlow It's a like a big big smile. X = The closed/squinted eyes. D = The mouth. You know how when you smile really big your eyes get smaller? Well in this case, they completely closed There are others. They are meant to resemble faces. (: :( D: :D :/ -_- ^_^ like that.
wish it came with the parts to make it :P I would love to make a watch but just don't have the equipment and the resources to do it alone with just a book
This book is one of the most complete treatise on making pocket watches like TOURBILLONS. It is flawless in its' detail. Thankyou Steffen Pahlow, I will keep this in my collection of significant works in my workshop library. I strongly reccomend this book to all pashionate watch makers. Larry
