I just like that jigsaw from the very start tells them to work together, and not think selfish to get outta there. They only needed 1 key in the first trap, since it would have unlocked all of the collars. There was space enough for all 5 people in the second trap where needles exploded. In the one with electricity, each could have taken 1 and got a small shock, and of course they could all give some blood to the last trap, and still survive with what they had left afterwards.

I think the idea of this film is that if they worked together instead of panicking then all 5 ouldve made it too the last trap which means that they would just need 2 litres of blood each but only 2 make it and die from massive blood loss trying to fill up the 10L

@roudchkjcgh Pints, not litres. The average human has about 10 pints of blood, (or about 5 litres), and can lose a little over one pint without serious medical issues arising. Fatal blood loss can occur pretty much anywhere after 3 pints of blood are lost. So the trap really would have needed all 5 of them in order to be completed and for them all to survive.

How to cheat in saw V 1. neck pulley solution: let one person die, BRING the corpse to the next stage 2. Nail bomb solution: 1 hole can fit 2 persons, bring the corpse into the hole 3. bathtub solution: connect five circuits to each person, one for the corpse, of course. (very difficult to let go of the corpse from the circuits as the door can close) 4. pints of blood solution: insert 2 of the corpse's hand to the machine and wait for the door to open. there you go, safe without a scratch.

You know, this film's really quite clever. For example, the Explosion of Nails trap. Jigsaw has manipulated these people and turned them against each other. They don't realise that each of those tunnels could probably hold two, maybe three. So instead, they just leave a man to die to make themselves feel safe. That's how this film works. It turns people against each other for things that could have been easily beaten. The film screws with their minds... and that's how it all works.

I notice in saw traps there is an easier way to escape the trap. Like the water trap you could just dink as much as you can and it doesn't matter if you wet your pants it's survival. Then in the trap where the girl cuts off her arm, you could just slip in your shoes. The neck pulley decapitator trap they can just throw a shoe at the glass to break all 5 and then they all would've survived. The steam room trap, the guy can just hold the lever forever and move somewhere away from the smoke.
