@jewlsgrl96 I just played Lowbutt and my advice is try to act as arrogant and doting on Queenie as possible. She's like your best friend in the play. Hope this helps.

I'm doing this show!!!!!! I'm Ida but this song was cut! Me and my friend were really disapointed but we never heard the song and when we were reading the lyrics, 'when you hear that dibble dabble your proud to say : Hey! thats my rabble!' we literally broke our hearts laughing! I saw this play a couple years back and the girl who played Ida was FANTASTIC!!!!! She turned out to be my band director's daughter and she is an amazing singer and actress. She also got the roles of Cinderella in Into the Woods and Kim McAfee in Bye Bye Birdie.

I'm Maureen in my school play, only we're doing the Junior version, which I don't think is as good as this version.

@SadieWendt28 It's been about 6 years since I did this show, but if I remember correctly there's 2 scenes that Jay Bird/Maggie Pie has lines in. it's a fun part since you get to really push Ida's emotions, and you get your own bird camera crew :)

I haven't gotten around to it. Initially I just put up a few of the funnier songs so I could get bits from all the shows up. Also, this is one of the older shows I have (2004) and the sound on the recording isn't the greatest. The camera mic doesn't pick up the lower voices very well so some of the harmonies sound wonky on film though they were right in person.

There's two or three lines I think. You'll probably get a really gorgeous costume. And it's a small enough part that you'll still get to be in all the chorus numbers, and that's the fun part :) Our mother swan was also in the goose chorus.

Congrats on the part! Maureen is really funny. It's a supporting role. She gets to be in the duckyard scenes, with solos in the Joys of Motherhood, Look at Him, Poultry Tale and the Eulogy. (Might be more, I don't remember. It's been a while)
