  • if i may say a few things...

    1)work on your tonging

    2) your vibrato is a mess so practice that, you shouldn't use so much of it, this is a horn concerto, and we horns dont use vibrato, keep in mind that you want to imitate the instrument it was written for as much as possible.

    3) TEMPO you speed up and slow down by a few clicks constantly. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS practice with a metronome.

    4) DYNAMICS- its hard to tell if you're using any at all.

    5) musicality

with that said keep on practicing :)

  • @swimfreak424 1) That's what she said

    2) I made a new recording without vibrato and the link is probably on the right hand side of this page

    3) That's what she said

    4) I use a MIDI sequencer to obtain free sheet music, so it's just the notes with no marking at all

    5) Same as 2)

  • @davidsmffei yea i watched the other one, its a lot better. nice job.

if i may say one thing there were a few times that you cut off a bit in that video, like at around 0:25 till the break. but its not very noticeable, so i guess its fine (flautist's tend have the same habit of making notes too long or too short unconsciously so its cool lol)
