  • ... Man, you can say that again! ""Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime"" mumm

  • love the song, wish i could BUY IT!

  • Found her! She's Tereza Panagiotopoulos and i still think it's a nice cover.

  • nice- at least it uses the correct chords, unlike some "covers"

  • haha her rolling Rs are hilarious.

  • just great !!

  • This song is best left alone - nobody can do it better than Korgis - stop ripping off this song

  • @varsume Indeed - the Korgis original is outstanding. But like many great songs, folk can't resist pushing out their own efforts. At least P Diddy and R Kelly have so far possessed the decency to leave it alone.

  • @varsume YES YES YES ILY Varsume

  • it touches my soul

  • ULTRA MILD...............

  • The Dream Academy has a good version too.

  • Meravigliosa versione. Un ritmo quasi ipnotico. Fortissima la somiglianza con lo stile dei Portishead, e' vero.

  • Surprisingly good, a bit Portishead style. Downbeat and all.

This song has a lot of heart and the lyrics sure adapt well to today with everything going on.

Many, many more remakes of this song are ahead of us.

    Grinderman

  • How many versions have there been of this song and who origanally sang this?

  • the korgi's released the original version......theres loads of covers...beck's is the best, in my opinion

  • lots; this, Beck done an amazing cover, Glasvegas have covered it... search youtube for covers. there will be hundreds.

and the original was by a band called The Korgis.

  • @boru25 the origanally version is the korgis

  • @boru25 The original version is from "The Korgis" but in my opinion the "Beck" (from the movie) version is the best. I try to find the movie now...see...

  • @boru25 Probably dozens and dozens, it was originally the Korgis who did the song.

  • @boru25 Wikipedia is alwasy a good help, but Korgis originally recorded it, there are quite a few covers including by Beck, The Field and obviously Tereza here.

  • @boru25 - The Korgis originally sang it..... the best version. I like Mark et Claudes version for a faster version too!!!! The korgis is the most passionate, by FAR!!! perfect.

  • @boru25 baby d

  • @boru25 Have no idea how many - i keep finding new ones :p But the original is by The Korgis

  • @boru25 Baby D did the origanal

  • It was a hit single released by The Korgis in 1980. My favorite cover is by Beck, which can be found on the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind movie soundtrack.

  • @boru25

It was originally recorded (best) by The Korgis in 1979, for their 'Dumb Waiters' album.
