I'm tired of people going "lol underwater Smurfs". If you actually watched both shows, you'd find out they're very different, especially in the first couple seasons. They changed so much with season 3 and it seemed like they were trying to be more like the smurfs and stuff. Snorks was more about underwater teenager shenanigans than anything. which is adorable.
I LOVE The Snorks, they were so cool, I mean, sure they weren't the Smurfs, but IMO, it was BETTER than the Smurfs
and yes, this is the Intro to Season 2 of The Snorks from the NBC Years
and plus, the Intro to Season 2 is MUCH better than Season 1 and the syn. Intros
God Bless Hanna-Barbera, Sepp S.A. and NBC for a job well done
and BTW, this show was out when NBC still had The Cosby Show, Punky Brewster, Miami Vice and HUNTER plus, this show was out when Bill Cullen hosted The Joker's Wild

This is the best Snorks intro, hands down.
Season 3/4's intro comes close. Season 1's intro is too slow-paced for my taste, though I did like the exposition in it.

i honestly think that the Snorks are better than the Smurfs. Allstar is my favorite. he's so cool and cute. i even have a plush of him.

Yes, it was used exclusively on NBC in 1985 and on Worldvision Treasures Home Video in 1986-1987.
