They haven't had the time and chance to develop evolutionary mechanisms allowing them to survive such dangeorus falls.

Have you never been around a cat? This is what they do! Climb on things! And a cat's terminal velocity (i.e. the fastest speed it will reach if it falls from a height) is not fast enough to kill it. And I thought everyone knew that cats land on their feet! Don't be silly.

'In danger'? Did you not read what I just said? Even if it fell (which is unlikely, given a cat's agility and balance) it would unlikely be killed or even injured for that matter. When a human falls from a building it is heavy enough to make it fall fast enough to kill it. When a cat falls it falls slow enough for it to twist round and survive unharmed. Google it. It's a well known fact.

Cats are not always supposed to be allowed to do what they want. The same for kids, we have to be their owner and take care of them, and not expose them to danger purposely, just to get a reaction out of people. Even if it is not your cat, and you didn't make the video, I am just responding to you lol.

I agree with you 100% but the cat wasn't in danger - this is what I've been saying all along! I presume the video was shot where the cat lives, in which case, it probably has access to the balcony quite a lot. In the summer that door's probably open all the time. The cat knew what it was doing and I very much doubt the owner would have left it out there unattended. At least it was able to go outside, unlike some cats whose owners live in apartments.
