My favorite folk feminist rebel stepping center stage in one petite human temple/ not yelling but singing the truth of both feminine strength & the artistic tooth/ she powers in & lights us up, metaphor, story, rhythm--written word becomes the song--yah, heckler, that's what's up/ a soul driven to ride her brain to charge her tongue to move the train of ideas that carry revolution/ see her try to connect w/ the divine goddess within/ inspiring her daughter, as well, women all-her spiritual kin.
