  • dam thats better then mine

  • has anyone ever thought of making the follow-me eye effect with one of those things where it looks like it is moving, but there are just little lines, and on the opposite side there is another picture.... if you get what I mean. O.o I think they use them in books, and as stickers.

  • will you send me a link to the tutorial plz? x3

  • i wish my walmart carried fur at all

  • YIFF IN HELL YOU FAT FURFAG THIS IS WHY WE CANT HAVE NICE THINGS

  • @SucculentJuniper what do you mean? I got tons of nice things before I was a fur. :P but now I am, and I still get nice things.

  • That purple fur!! I wish my wal mart carried it. :c

  • She looks so cute! Very nice head.

  • i'm loving thje head...I want to build something sorta like that but a cat with working jaw any hints I'm used to dogs and foxes

  • hmm.. Looks cute! =D

  • where did you get the foam from?

  • I got the foam from a local sewing store (they were scrap piece which are cheaper - check out your local sewing store and or upholstery store. Ask if they have a scrap bin for foam (get a nice dense foam if you can so it can be carved and formed.) If you need tutorials or any more help, just PM me! :3

  • looks good BTW

  • hey dude, is cheaper to make them yourself than to get one custom made? i will want to make one.

  • definitely cheaper, but takes a lot of time. Thanks for the comment!

  • Where do you accuire the materials? And What is the base of it all?

  • a lot of the material comes from walmart/craft stores. Sewing stores are great - sometimes they carry upholstery foam which yo build the form for the head with, and sometimes they also have a large selection of fur. Getting all the material is probably the most time consuming part. You can find parts from all over or make them like a clay nose. Good Luck!!

  • lol, But I have yet to even try to design my own suit.

  • did you buy the purple fur or did you color it yourself?

  • I bought it that way - it was cheap acrylic fur. You can paint or dye fur, but it's a lot harder to do...

  • where do you buy your fur?

  • the purple was from walmart, but look at local craft stores, fabric stores and even online is a great place to find good fur. fur usually is about $15-$20 per yard. for me - it ends up being the most expensive part of the costume.

  • ok cool, how did u do that ?

  • just did... i have tutorials on the basics of building one...

  • Heh, awesome! One question, can you send me the link to the tutorial for the "follow me eyes" please?

  • I'll send you the link in a PM - sorry i didn't get back sooner. The site where it was up was down for quite a while there.

  • Wow, awesome head! How on earth did you make the moving jaw? (Only part I'm stumped about :S)

  • I explain a bit about it on my webpage, i can send you the link in a PM.

Though if you watch my other videos of my friends head it shows it before it is furred.

  • Whoah, thats awesome! Mind if you can give me details on how to do 3D follow-me eyes like that?

  • I'll send you a PM with a link to my page with a tutorial on how to do them.

  • Wow this is really good! Could you please send me the tutorial for 3D eyes? They're the only part I'm having trouble on. Thanks so much! x3

P.S. Off topic, but 'purpur' is my favorite german word. |D

    lol. -runs off-

  • I'm actually surprized to find that someone at least knows it's german! :3

  • Awwrs such a cute suit head ^.=.^ nice work! Which eye method did you use by the way?

  • I made the eyes so that they are kinda cup like and go into the foam. Then I placed a think layer of mesh over the eyes. Makes them work quite well actually. :3
