On our visit to Afghanistan we had the good fortune of being able to speak to the president Hamid Karzai. Two months later we heard that conditions at the orphanages were vastly improved. I am so happy for these small children. Even in the worse conditions of depravity and cold, they still had smiles, hope and love. as you say, "May Allah protect these orphaned souls."
