  • Must be nice to tune out. Oh but you all have a ALL POWERFUL excuse. Alot of you even use his name in vain ti justify killing innocents of other races, creeds and religions. Not to mention instill fear in others. Wonder how many of you say you believe because you are afraid not to?

  • One thing that really makes me question the intelligence of humanity is their belief in the big bang.

An explosion from nowhere that created the universe.

That simple sentence is riddled with paradoxes in and of itself.

Explosions occur due to a reaction. It cannot come from nowhere.

    Explosions do not create.

Something as intricate as the universe cannot have just HAPPENED.

Try it yourself. Make an explosion from nothing that creates something.

  • @BloodSonicFlux Sure, what you say has some obvious problems, but so does the idea of some invisible guy who made everything also out of nothing, try making a house out of thin air, go no, ok now try to make a universe, and humanity, and then all other creatures, and then try to explain to me why you decided to become invisible and not show yourself ever again, leaving only a clump of paper behind as any sort of proof of your own existence.

  • @Simpanra If you think it so simple, you're not taking in the entirety.

But hey, you believe what you can, I can't change it. So I'm not even gonna try.

    Just lemme say this quickly...

We think "God" as having some kind of power.

What if he's just a being unrestricted by time and space?

  • @BloodSonicFlux I'm sorry, but your reply consisted of two simple things, a "what if" and effectively "I can't be bothered to convince you". So either you can't be bothered to do what your god wants and convert me, or you have literally no proof to follow this supposed "almighty" blindly.

  • @Simpanra Yes, it did. i realised that as I was typing it, and knew it was a paradox.

And, the difference between what you think is that we're not bound to convert everyone - just those who are open to it.

And as for proof... Where's your proof that we evolved from monkeys? Or that a random explosion in space that didn't exist at the time created the universe?

See? Putting things in a certain way makes them less or more believable.

  • @BloodSonicFlux Well actually the proof of us evolving from apes is well....were to get started.....erm....everywhere? In our DNA, in our features, in our brains, and the fact that they are practically the exact same as us. Just look it up, as for the explosion in space, well i don't claim to be an astrological scientist unlike god so i have utterly no idea how it works, but somebody on this planet does, many people do, and thats more than you can say about god,

  • @Simpanra When has god ever mentioned his origins? Never. When did god make the dinosaurs? Did he make them? I don't remember hearing that he did, but there is undeniable proof that they existed. Why did somebody write a book on god if his work is so damned noticable? If god created everything why did he make hell? Why did he make Satan? Does that mean he is greater than satan? If so why can't he save us all? Or just kill satan? If he is so good why does he need our praise,

  • @BloodSonicFlux And if he doesn't need our praise then why does he cast us out if we don't give it? Is he a self righteous god? Is he just plain insane? Why is he invisible? are we not worthy to see him? If not then why not? What has a new born baby done wrong so that they can't see god? if god i everywhere and new born babies CAN see him before they commit a sin, then why don't we all believe in god from birth? What proof have you even got that the bible is the truth? Your faith is a book.

  • @Simpanra Why does he NEED to show himself?

    You aren't. I'm not.

Yet we still have a conversation.

The finality is that we CAN'T prove what created the universe, or even when. We can try, but we fail each time.

Like how we predict the world's end?

How many times have we failed THAT?

  • @BloodSonicFlux good point! xD We are as hopeless at predicting the end of the world as we are at predicting the weather it seems xD

I can see your point about us not showing ourselves anymore than he is, but I just don't understand how some people find it more believable that there is a god out there that made everything by himself, than the idea that science can explain it, sure science figured it out later than the religious folk, but its not first come first serve xD

  • @Simpanra No, but the fact that science's explanations are totally illogical, unproven, and baseless makes them less believable.

The science behind a higher power we call a "God" is understandable, and scientifically justifiable WITHOUT even leaving our own time, place, or dimension.

    Example: DNA.

A fourfold, self-correcting code that is designed to reject mutation.

Try to make a webpage appear out of nowhere without any outside interference.

The laws of the universe RECQUIRE a higher power.

  • @BloodSonicFlux Sciences explanations have been tested and proven, thats why they are SCIENCE, they definitely aren't any less logical than an invisible man with powers to create things out of thin air, Also they are a lot less baseless than this ridiculous idea of some "thing" which was invented back when people burnt women as witches. How long till everyone realises god is a stupid fairy tale? I think you already do know and you aren't protecting a god as much as you are protecting your ego.

  • @Simpanra Ok, ok, if you think evolution and the big bang can be proven...

    Try and recreate them.

Straight away you find they recquire outside influence.

    Aka a higher power

aka a "God" to instigate them.

What you call "an invisible man with powers" i call "A being outside time and space"

The 4 dimensions of our universe - height length width and time - The fact these restrictions exist, that we can think about them, and argue, is quite a substantial amount of proof.

  • @BloodSonicFlux Alright, but whilst i am off creating explosions, why don't you try and make another god? And you don't need a higher influence to make something amazing happen, its called a random chance, and yes it sounds far fetched but it was a random chance that there was a big bang and another random chance that we were created, but atleast chance can be explained and understood, but this thing outside time and space, it just has no logic, none at all.

  • @Simpanra You have it backwards.

    Random = without pattern.

Everything in the universe has a discernable pattern. Look hard enough, you find it. (note: need knowledge of highly advanced mathematics e.g: fractals)

If it was all by chance, why is there a pattern?

PS: An explosion from nothing that creates. The Big Bang in itself is illogical.

So a higher power is illogical? You being your pet's master is illogical? The government's existance is illogical?

  • @BloodSonicFlux And these restrictions, they only exist because of the way reality works. It just wouldn't make sense otherwise, also before you start saying that all these laws that science has discovered must have been left by some powerful being, thats wrong, they weren't left like easter eggs in an egg hunt for us to find, they were invented by us to better understand the universe around us, all these measurements and restrictions were effectively made by us.

  • @Simpanra Before the big bang, there was supposedly nothing.

    Meaning no laws.

The Big Bang not only created the universe, but it's laws.

If we INVENTED these laws of the universe, why are we bound by them?

Would we not have the ability to break, or even, transcend them?

We did not invent the laws of the universe - We figured them out.

... I just realised how strongly i feel about this subject.... huh....

  • @BloodSonicFlux Not true, the laws were already there before the big bang, thats how the big bang made everything, it followed the laws and whatever happened during and after the big bang happened because of these laws, they were already there =) Without the laws there would be no big bang because there wouldn't be a law saying "when these particles collide create a massive explosion".

  • @Simpanra And how would you know how the universe was before there was anything at all?

.... I wrecked my own argument as well, didn't I?

    Ah well. This was fun.

    See you some other time.

  • @BloodSonicFlux xD don't worry about it, it was rather fun actually xD

    Cheers!

    See ya later =)

    Edd,

  • @BloodSonicFlux My god.....I've had the same thoughts before. If God created everything was there just God in the beginning did something create God? Did he/she just exist before creation? Was there anything else? But then my head starts to hurt and I question my own exisitance. My mind isn't made for big thoughts.

  • @Ichigo13Hanyou Lets make it simple then.

God is outside of time. So he has no beginning, nor end.

    God is the true infinity.

we, as humans, cannot actually imagine infinity as neverending - we just see it as lots of time.

  • @Simpanra Oh, and as for DNA, it didn't take a click of some "Almighty" fingers, it toke MILLIONS of years adjusting, adapting and evolving, which seems to be too much for your mind to handle. Why do religious people only look back over two thousand years? If you want to prove your god exists then do so already, scientists have already proven he doesn't, we are jsut waiting for you guys to "see the light" as it were, Just give me one piece of undeniable prove, thats all i ask.

  • Awesome! He has and does help me and anyone who asks...Thank You Lord!

  • Thank you Jesus that when I pray you hear and always take away the weight of my sin and anxiety... You are the Miracle..

  • ForeverLoveee you hit the nail on the head there.

  • Wow this is how I feel right now.

  • i think what's nice about rebecca is that she shows that christian songs don't have 2 be slow and traditional. this is more kinda rock, and i love this song! myself i'm 13 and i'm going to get my confirmation.

  • AH i like this and the pictures!

  • i agree with foreverloveee1 i dont know why though...we all have a free chance to love and get an eternity of happiness...why not take it?

  • love this song

  • there is no god

the humans need for a god is no proof for his exsistence

  • @muk2223 It's sad that you feel that way, I wish I could help you. I pray God will reach you...

  • very powerful song. It kind of describes where im at in my life right now, new york is not the best place for good influences. It's nice to know that good influences can be put into good music.

  • I agree with ForeverLoveee1 on their point... I don't get why some people don't believe in the Bible at all. Don't they WANT to believe the miracles and in Heaven? But adversely, I also get why people don't believe in all of it as well. I'm not a Christian that annoys people with repenting and trying to convert them... Live and let live. Fabulous song. ^^

  • Your able to believe in MIracles without believing in the Bible.

  • Sorry to bust your faith parade, but I'm agnostic! I love the song and I think it was nicely composed... Don't hates me! ^-^

  • @ForeverLoveee1 Hah.. You suck, honestly..

  • @ForeverLoveee1 Accepting Christ didn't fill my life with happiness, It gave me an anxiety disorder and filled my with misanthropy.

  • @ForeverLoveee1 Accepting Christ didn't fill my life with happiness, it just gave me major depressive episodes and anxiety. The love of a transcendent, ineffable being is a huge burden.

  • @ForeverLoveee1 is your name from francesca battistelli's song "forever love" do you like her???

  • @ForeverLoveee1

well, that's right it's good to read about jesus

but what make u sure that's what are you reading is right about him ?!?!

you must read about anther religion to compare it to know the truth
