and btw.VERGIL's a demon ever since he was born dudes...

I so agree with ADDICTEDHERO....the only part u'll see of vergil in this game is his KATANA!!! and it happens by chance that nero STUMBLED upon it...also with the power from the devil arm he's managed to reincarnate the sword and make use of vergils power that resides in it...thats all! Vergil's soul is trapped in hell man...Nero is a character of his own...

Ok people I'm only gonna say this once, Nero is NOT Vergil. Nero only has Vergil's power now from absorbing Vergil's sword with his demon arm. Which is why! he says his arm speaks to him saying, "Power, give me more power!" Nero is in no way Vergil. And to answer any furhter questions the DMC Saga in order or when they occured is 3, 1, 4, 2. I hope that clears up any confusion.

hmm u may have a point. this is set after dmc 1 in which nelo angelo was killed (by dante) and virgil could have lost all his memory. good guess but i doubt it

The creator of Devil May Cry has already stated the order of the series goes like this

DMC 3 -> DMC 1 -> DMC 4 -> DMC 2. In that case Vergil is dead, Dante killed Nelo Angelo. He also stated Vergil would not play a part in DMC 4.
