Non taken. However I don't consider it a waste of time. I was tinkering around a bit and learning how to use Bryce is all. I consider it a learning experience.
That's excellent! 4 hours of rendering for what you did isn't bad at all. My last Bryce project is almost 7 min long and that took about 420 hours of rendering.
420 hours? Wow.. That is 17 days.. Maybe some of your settings are set up correctly. Or maybe you were exporting in FINE mode.. Or maybe it was a large size video too.. That is a long time.. :)
That's right, 17 days but spread out over a three month period, which included around 60 scenes edited together. Yes, my computer is not the fastest, it's over 6 years old now. I also rendered to a larger display size than is used on you tube videos. If you're interested, it's called "No Fly Zone". You can find it under my account name.
we use this thing in my tech ed class at school idont like it at all

That's understandable... It is great for learning but by no means a professional product...

Can someone tell me if Bryce creations can be exported into files that can be used in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut PRO?
I want to Key in video footage of people interacting in the 3d environments- This needs to be broadcast quality?
Please advise if you know the Export File Types- handled by BRYCE 5
Thanks

I have not heard of it. Is that the same sort of technology that is used in some PC gaming software?

Nice fly-through and scene work. Four hrs to render, eh. That's a pretty good clip for Bryce.
