I remember seeing this on Top of the Pops in the mid 70s and thinking what I would like to do to all the dancers, bearing in mind I was at school and in my teens. They made me feel weird in a nice way just watching them. Funny how the passage of time doesn't stop that feeling of me wanting to bang them silly!!

In reply to JBSouthsea, thanks for that info. I always loved this song, but thought it was a Victorian-era sea shanty. I had no idea he wrote it. Also, all those girls are over-the-top sexy, especially Debbie Jenner - the blonde with the curlier hair. Oldfield did not write this, it's a traditional English folk song, check out Ralph Vaughn Williams' Sea Songs which includes it.

Not that it matters, it's a great version by a great musician.
