Wow, this is different than your other vids. I love the opening shot - it kind of looks 3D 'cause (I'm assuming) everythings on it's own layer. The guys hair looks great - everything looks great. Nice job :D

yep the opening shot is done with layers on after effects. Its also the only part which contains artwork which is not my own -- I used photoshop on a Hokusai print which is public domain. Unfortunately, I was unable to figure out how to use the reflection of Fuji in the ocean which is this print's most important feature.

maybe you could've put the mountain in the water (upside down of course) and then made in 60% transparent or something.

the difficulty was in getting the angles on the shadow so that it looked like the original while maintaining the illusion of moving into a 3D picutre.
