Hey I am a bricklayer of the highest quality you need to learn how to spread properly and then lay the bricks. As described we are BRICKLAYERS not brick and level tappers.
Amature you have a straight joint...you start with a header then stretcher and so on...look at your vid again Div. Also tapping ya level is shoddy workmanship..its the brick that out of level not ya level hahahahaha propper wank.
whats the fucking point??theres no bastard work in the building trade for UK workers.
I know many tradesmen(plumbers.brikkies, plasterers)who are going out collecting scrap metal and earning FOUR times as much in a day than they did on the site.
Hi, i'm a bricklayer from Canada and i'm interested in knowing what types of connectors are mostly used in the U.S. and the U.K. regardless of construction type. Wooden, concrete, blocks walls... thank you guys.
i am fucked to do this job, my back is gone, money is not good, very shit job, especially during rain, alot of mess, fuck the bricklayer. i never advice to anyone to do this job, i advice go school, do any diploma, n do a job in offices with nice girls nice chicks. cheers buddy
@doughnut950 Your right, but it requires much more training to go scoop, spread, lift and plonk than opposed to lift, tighten, untighten, drop. we have more bragging/ wanker rights than riggers
@mikebrewerisamoron If I put a pile of bricks in front of you and a set of drawings could you build a house? I can tell you this there is a lot more to bricklaying than sticking one brick on top of another and one thing is for sure good mathematical skills are required far more than just the basics.
Now shove your punctuation up your arse and go and learn some mathematical formula that will help your brain function correctly. Dim Fuck!
@joedobbs100 I tap level all the time. The keyword is tap. Do I use to pound down a brick that may have a piece of something under it.. no.
If the mud is good and you lay your level down, theres no reason you cant tap your level and use it as a straight edge. I pay $130 for a 4' level, I better be able to tap on it for petes sake.
@CONCRETE13 haha my masonry class has brass levels and shit i guess , so i was tapping on it nice and easy and my trowel went right through it haha so i gave it to the guy next to me and got another one
