That wasnt a crossbow..they wont drop like that if you hit them in the heart or lung they will mostlikely go about 20 or more yards..you would be able to see the bolt impact the deer aswell..lasttime i checked a crossbow doesent go BOOM!!!

And what do you think that loud hum is in the video? It sounds like a generator running. It's the camera running and the mic is picking it up. People are too easily baffled by a camera mic. Strap a mic to anything and tap it and it will sound like an explosion. As for the deer going down instantly, that has to do with shot placement. Most hunters go their whole life with a rifle and never figure out how to drop a deer where it stands. They think they need a bigger caliber.
my cousin got a scope knot from my x-bow first time he shot it..
barnett wildcat 350 i shoot 100 grain rage 2 blade mechanicals on 20 inch bolts don't remember the weight on them.. mine is loud as hell if you are close to it and has "some" recoil and often don't penetrate completely over 30ish yards. most of my kills are between 40 and (max) of 50. i believe the video but would have liked to see the closeup of the bolt for total proof :)
Something doesn't seem right here. That's a lot of recoil for a crossbow and that deer went down mighty quick. How far away were you from the deer when you shot it, and what kind of broad heads were you using?
if that was a crossbow then where's the exit hole on the left side of the deer? sure sounds like a rifle, ive shot a crossbow and they arent that frikin loud..
@m98jack the was not echo from a gun, it was a crossbow, camera mics are ridiculously blunt and muffled..it was prolly a xbow, what purpose would there be to lie????

The firing sequence was in slow motion hence the distorted sound. My crossbow is very loud.

Yes.. It was from a crossbow. My camera is mounted right over top of the rail. Also learn how to spell before you post another uninformed comment.
