saw this tour live back in the early 90's in Ventura, Ca. I was a pretty good drummer at the time, but was your typical " Neil Peart is God" drummer. I walked out of the show saying "Neil who?" I bought this album and tried to play like Novak for a good two years....and this is AFTER me being an educated drummer for 10 years. I became so frustrated that I basically quit playing altogether! Ha! This show completely changed my views of music and drumming. Amazing!

Gary Novak is my hero ! I've seen him play many many times,even just 3 feet away from my table at Catalina's in L.A. and Baked Potato and I can assure you no one has the same touch/feel/raw energy as him inc. Vinnie.

Thanks to EDrummer77 for the post! This is a great song from a great release. I think that Jimmy Earl and Mike Miller filled the slots left by Frank Gambale and John Patitucci very nicely. Eric Marienthal is always fun to watch solo, so much energy. Gary Novak is terrific!
