what kind of horn is tht?..it sounds like a SP P5A but with a deepertone or it sounds like a leslie M5 used on the class 37 santa fe f units but its a deeper tone...cool train..the two passenger cars are also owned by Nasa right?...great vid!!!...just Awsome!!

this train is headed to NASA JJ Junction and Bridge from here the train will head to Kennedy as for the UP power it remains at CSX Interlocking in Jacksonville.

@analyzingfunny The box cars are there to separate the load the cars with the boaster parts in them are so heavy they would damage some of the smaller bridges if there is more then one of them on it at any given time.

while the space shuttle program is at a halt, Nasa will be more focused in advancing their technologies for future deep space exploration. It is sad that the space shuttle program is ending but its for the best. Better technology will help us in the future, I cant wait...

@nealgh111 Obama didn't kill the shuttle program. Bush started the countdown clock in 2004

It's sad, but it's the right decision regardless of politics. The design is 35 years old, it isn't safe, overly complicated and too expensive. The capability to return large objects from space was rarely used and without that, they can do without the heavy wings.
