Dammers is just a degree or two away from being heroic. Decades ago when I read Red Dragon when the Hannibal Lechter character appeared in the book I immediately imagined him played by Jeffrey Combs.

I was wondering if those were really his eyes in the movie, there so black it's creepy. Makes him look a little dead. I guess now i know they were contacts. I'd been wondering. Great character creation by Jeffrey Combs with all da little touches really add up to a creppy and memorable character i'll never forget.

Ya, It didn't do to well because Independence Day came out that same summer, and the Olympics were going on. It's to bad, cause it was an awesome film
