Ben - you handle these various forms of jazz like an old pro three times your age! You seem to have an innate sense for it - and the articulation & control to give it a lot of shading & depth.
OK, Ben, this does it. This piece is an extreme challenge, and you're playing it beautifully. Slightly below tempo, but absolutely accurately! And that's a NICE grand you're sitting at. You are NOT a novice pianist, by any stretch!
You need more exposure here on the Tube, and more viewers. We'll have to work on that. It'll help immensely if you post more videos of what else you're doing. The music community here is ALWAYS looking for new talent, and it's often buried, like yourself.
Thank you very much for the compliments and encouragement. I will definitely post more videos soon! My parents want me to post Fur Elise by Beethoven and I am working that up now.
Good to hear from you, and to hear that you're planning more videos. I can spread the word among musician friends, and when they see what you're doing, they'll pass it along to still more friends. And soon enough, some of them are going to start clicking that Subscribe button.
Fur Elise is like an "old standard." I think everyone who's ever played has learned it. I could probably play it in my sleep... LOL! It'd be great to see your interpretation of it.
Your playing is...truly amazing...keep it up!

You play this really well, I can play it a bit faster than this but you have much better timing than me which is pretty important. :)
