room clearin is inherenlty dangerous.. it always has been.. it's stressful.. not fun in real life.. and people get killed all the time no matter how well trained they are, DELTA FORCE... RANGER... SEAL.. ETC.. they are all bad dudes.. but bad dudes come home in metal boxes too... thats why we respect them so much.. they still are willing to go back and do it again even after seeing how dangerous it is in the bad places of the world..
First of all the second guy is leaning way over, What kind of accuracy do you have bent in half. Second, Crouch down under another guy like in this video and try to enter a room fast. You can't.
**Save some time and just watch any other room clearing video on YouTube.**
@ColeMD17 i can see it now... king Friday is making his daily speech in that tunnel fairy tale kingdom, and a puppet in a turban shoots him from the trolley yelling "allah gehad!" and the trolly derails hits the castle and blows up.
@12GaugeLosAngeles let me guess in laymans terms if you want to invade someone's house, he has the advantage knowing the house, where everything is and where he can get at you if you try.
No wonder swat has to go to extremes just to get into a dealer's house.
@skillguitar Pieing over a door has its place sometimes its effective sometimes not. It really depends on the prior intel of the room itself (including any contacts within), how many men you have, whether you have tactical aids such as flashbangs, composition of the building, are there hostages involved, fiber optics, etc. Theres no one way to enter a room theres a multitude of factors to take into consideration first. Pieing over is effective sometimes, other times its dangerous.
Wow, why is everyone picking on Russians as terrorist. Aren't we fighting a war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan right now? Cold war ended 20 years ago and besides Russian special forces go through training that is tougher than both U.S. special forces and the S.A.S.

I would hate to have to clear a room with pistols only. I feel a lot safer with a rifle in my hands. But, it's still good training for pistol work. The high-low method seems rather awkward, though ... just a thought.
A note on the 'russian fight' thing: if they are packing something like an AK, I am sure as hell not going in there without good armor and a medic outside (just in case it goes horribly wrong). And they better kill me with the first shot, because I'll still shoot him if I'm alive.
Best case scenario..Shields and lot of flashbangs and white lights from mutiple entry points solves most problems if ur goin in blind..pray theres no kids though..
@Oxstayne James Williams is a specialist in CQB training. Not only is he known for his work with firearms and edged weapons, he is also known for his work with the Japanese sword.
russian fighter will just hear you coming, wasting time, will fire with the 7,62 through the wall, killing you and your mate, and to be sure will dump a defensive nade in your corridor and take another vodka (swearing in russian in the process)
this is only the basic technique on how to do things properly, with a little dicipline. it is uploaded to give a little idea to those who doos'nt have a clue on anything as special warfare is concern. but of course it would differ a lot in actual situation and i don't think special forces are stupid enough to do things that would burn their assault.
by the way, for the record russians are more stupid compare to this two, and it has been proven a lot...
@Madapaka73 The only thing that validates his comment is that the 7.62x39 in the SKS and AK-47, popular with many terrorists and more lightly funded armies, has a bit more penetration than a 5.56 NATO. Some teams aren't even issued anything above a 9mm parabellum smg, save maybe one. Anyway, these tactics are great, but that's one thing to think about.
@Madapaka73 No, Americans are stupid like you. Did you know that Russian and American military worked together before. Yet, regular Russian soldiers only worked with American special forces. That means that a standard Russian soldier is equivilent to an American Special Forces soldier. That speaks a lot of the skill level.
Or... rather, you russian will give away his position firing off because he doesn't have a actual location on threat, and will give the assaulters ample time to fix and flank. This video is only basic and done very slowly. In practice its much smoother and faster. It's meant to be used by one or two man teams. Anything larger can use more aggressive entry methods.
@Sektorrules That used to be the standard infantry rule, "I'm not going in there with prepping the room with grenades first", but since we have ROEs with civilians, we have controlled/disciplined clearing tactics.
@Sektorrules I agree with Madapaka. Also smartass there is no easy answer to Urban warfare that is why it is so dangerous! You might say why don't you blow up the fcking building man or throw flash bang. Good answers but you might not have an airstrike, tank, or flash bangs....idiot. Techniques that are supposed to increase your chances for survival. I suggest to layoff the hollywood movies and by the way watching them doesn't make you an expert in urban warfare. Just an FYI!
As far as Russian fighters hearing you coming and firing 7,62 through the wall.....
I would think they are not just running in.. not knowing there are men with heavy guns inside... I'm sure a Flash Bang or sniper in an adjacent building will slow your drunk Russians down quite a bit! How many times have you seen info on Tactical Teams losing???
I hope slicing the pie doesnt get my ass shot lol
