High Pressure & Low Pressure Paintball Tanks

Any suggestions for a good, cheap, high pressure tank? By cheap, I mean like maybe under 50$. And if I want to get and azodin kaos, should I get a gravity hopper like a proto primo, or an electric hopper like a fasta?

@campbellparker go to your local paintball shop they should have a some 3000psi tanks there for cheap, if your gonna get a hopper then get either a invert halo too or something better. get the best stuff you can get now so that later when u upgrade ur gun then you wont have to upgrade ur hopper or your tank.

We know it does, but if you'd listen you would hear him say that an angel is the only marker that REQUIRES low pressure air.

It is not the only one that CAN RUN ON low pressure air.

@codysr0388 the hpa tank dosent change pressure the C02 tanks drop pressure when they get cold and when it gets hot it raises pressure and you should the hpa tanks are way better than a c02

I'm thinning some people don't understand the difference between input pressure and operating pressure. Paintball guns have a regulor on them as well as the tank. The tanks regulator bring the pressure down to what your guns regulator can Handle then the guns regulator drops the air pressure down to the guns operating pressure.

you cant, a co2 tank only is safe for 850 to 900 psi, an air tank holds anywhere from 3000to 4500 psi so if you filled your co2 tank with air it would explode so dont try it

apparently you shouldn't use petroleum based lubricants since if any of that gets inside your gun, it can wreck the o-rings etc, never tried it so wouldnt know what it does.

just what i've heard, for arguements sake i would just go for a gun oil

Firstly DO NOT, EVER! EVER!! Put ANY kind of oil based lubricant inside the fill nipple of your tank, it will explode and you will come out with severe burns or die, now, that being said, yah it should be safe to put some WD40 inside your ASA and on the threads of your tank.

Worr Games makes a tank that's both high pressure and low pressure. 68ci 4500 psi is $150. You take the regulator out and replace the spring with a different colored one that comes with the tank.

The point of getting a low pressure tank is to get more shots out of a full tank. I bought a high pressure out-put tank and have paid for it ever since. WHY? Because once the tank gets below 850 psi you will experience velocity drop-off. It the tanks out-put pressure is 400 psi, you will not experience velocity drop-off till tank is below 400 psi. I know you try to simplify everything but people are not stupid. If you have a high-end marker get a low pressure tank.
