Looks like the fire had gained too much headway prior to the FDs arrival.

Looked less like them letting it burn and more like they are taking their time and setting up for DEFENSIVE OPERATIONS.

If they know the house is abandoned or that no one could not possibly survive the current fire conditions.they set up for outside fire tactics.

Exposure protection is now a priority.

No need in running around like madmen.

@garycalgary That way they keep embers from landing somewhere else and starting other fires. Seeing how most of the houses in the area are abandoned or had fires in them before. DFD is spread thin and doesn't have the resources like they used to

@garycalgary House is fully involved.. Handline wont do anything.. FF is putting water on the power lines to prevent them from coming down and causing more problems.... DFD FF's are the best in the world in putting out fires..
