One of the most beautiful color movies ever made. "Pierrot Le Fou" is my all time favorite film by Jean-Luc Godard. It's so stylish, offbeat, unpredictable, and creative. Great performance by lovely Anna Karina.

The music is Robert Schumann's Symphony No. 3 in E-flat Major, Op. 97 "Rhenish"/II. Scherzo. Sehr mässig. It is interesting to note that this music is used in this trailer but not in the soundtrack

i think godard knew how to make trailers. a lot of old trailers are really boring and not very special. i don't like most of the recent trailers either, but some are really good, like the one for "the man who wasn't there" or "miller's crossing" (probably because the coens made them themselves).

Ahh... the vivid colors, the ridicule of bourgios establishments, the abandon and romance... but most of all- the guns and french ladies. This is my first (perhaps fave) Godard film. Saw it at age 20, just before leaving my girlfriend two states away.
