Meade Lux Lewis Piano Boogie Woogie

IMHO, this was the greatest of all of MML's pieces and probably the greatest boogie woogie piano piece of all time. I remember hearing it for the first time, quite awestruck. It is odd how it is not so well known as most of MML's work. I spent months trying to pick it up from the recording but gave up in the end. Just too hard. You do an excellent job. Keep up the good work.

I'm not sure what this means either pianofan -alot of european players associate the left hand pattern I play in this piece with Axel Zwingenberger - but I got it from Meade's recordings - anyway thanks for watching - Matt

So Matthew Ball played on a Steinway Piano. And Steinway or Steinweg have been german emigrants.
