  • IMHO, this was the greatest of all of MML's pieces and probably the greatest boogie woogie piano piece of all time. I remember hearing it for the first time, quite awestruck. It is odd how it is not so well known as most of MML's work. I spent months trying to pick it up from the recording but gave up in the end. Just too hard. You do an excellent job. Keep up the good work.

  • I'm not sure what this means either pianofan -alot of european players associate the left hand pattern I play in this piece with Axel Zwingenberger - but I got it from Meade's recordings - anyway thanks for watching - Matt

    So Matthew Ball played on a Steinway Piano. And Steinway or Steinweg have been german emigrants.
