@UblastmanU He is checking the cylinder head volume, which is critical measurement used in determining compression ratio. Stock VW cylinder head volume is normally about 51cc.

that depends on how many parts need to be replaced of course but I can't estimate what costs will come up.

that depends on the transmission. Between 130-160 if it is a good 1600

I recommend getting rid of that generator and buying and alternator. Because the generators usually crap out a lot faster than alternators to.

What sucks for me is that i have to take off my engine and change to piston rings.. The guy i bought my engine from put crappy ones.. IT sucks..
