Chrno Crusade, paired FMA, are together the best anime-manga phenomenons of the last decade! They're not like any other shounen, they have EVERYTHING!!! Action, drama, commedy, horror, everything! It's a series of WIN!

Chrono Crusade is definetly one of the best animes to come out in the 2000's. Greg Ayres and Hilary Hagg pulled off the two main characters perfectly. Not only that, the entire supporting cast was good. The story is dark, humorous, violent, sad, and even down right tragic at times. If you haven't seen this show yet, you have to watch it, it won't dissapoint :).

All the "good time" comments are very misleading. I hate to break it to any potential viewers, but this is a tragic story not a comedy. Perhaps the first 2 episodes are comedic, and a few sparsed moments here and there; but the rest is struggle against the anti-christ (Aion) and some real heartache at times.

Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome story. However it's a lot more serious than this trailer leads you to believe.

There isn't any time travel. The Chrono part comes from Chrono, one of the main characters. His powers have to do with time. There's also the fact that he drains Rosette's life or time.

I'm on edge about whether or not to give this anime a try, because everytime I see it I am reminded of Chrono Trigger which was an awesome game that should've had an anime, but I watch this trailer at it looks nothing like that, more like trinity blood, which I wasn't too fond of, can anyone clear this up for me?

Oh, and to anyone who hasn't seen this anime yet and is turned off it by watching this—Chrono Crusade is amazing, you should totally give it a shot! Don't judge an anime by its trailer I guess. Hehe. XD

@ArythaIkarus The narration was to set the time period because radio host ACTUALLY talked like that in the 20s-40s. Also whats the point of showing all the good points in the trailor, there would be no need to watch the show! I descovered this anime via this trailor on another Gonzo dvd and fell in love with it BASED ON THIS TRAILOR!

Rossetes voice is kinda... meehh. Its a little squeaky. Ok, more than a little, a lot. Chrono's voice is pretty well casted tho. Greg, plays him wonderfully.^^ His voice is perfect (in my opinion).

plus having Hillary Haggs and Greg Ayres playing Rossette & Chrno they are perfect, to me its a perfect fit, Rossette is hotheaded and loud, (perfect for Hillary) and chrno is quiet and kind (perfect for greg Ayres)
