  • This is like 1966 garage rock-meets-Black Sabbath. I like it!

  • just come across this, amazing what you find on here, fucking rocks big time.

  • Cool stuff, love the hard blues sound. Early metal like this is great.

  • great music..far better than sabbath...

  • Another version of this photograph has the top left figure edited out. Who was that person, and why the editing?

  • We've all been in that one relationship where the person seemed so outrageous and mystical, but really ended up being kind of lazy and deceptive. That's what I think about when I hear this song. Fantastic.

  • IMHO the best sounding Pentagram, maybe it's less doom but it has that udescribable, characteristic style

  • NOT BAD,IT KIND OF HAS A 60S KIND OF SOUND TO IT

  • also the fact that Gene Simmons is a scumbag has nothing to do with him being jewish.

  • ROCK IT LOUD AND PROUD!!....and stoned.

  • Richie Jackson got me into this band, its fucking amazing

  • this is my favorite pentagram song right now

  • underrated and AWESOME

  • Snare Drum sound is killer.

  • Thanks! I LOVE Macabre!

  • Bobby is a Fucking Genius songwriter!!!

Vincent's guitar playing is Truly Amazing!!!

    KISS can KISS my ASS!!!!

  • Yeah, I heard that Kiss thought these guys were so fucking good, they offered to buy two of their songs.

  • Pentagram didn't have to hide behind painted faces......

    Their music spoke for itself!!!!!

  • @saintsaji

Kiss are nothing more than Jewish corperate scumbags. Their music is crap, their army is crap, but yet idiots still promote themselves into being ripped off by attending one of their concerts.

  • @N8Core14 today definitely! If it was the orig four guys its pretty good! I just hate paul fuckin stanley, and gene a bit. Love ace frehley \m/

  • @N8Core14 I'm assuming by KISS, you mean Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. The Band was Okay before they lost Peter and Ace, really good in the early years actually.

  • Space Meat was I believe (you will have to refer to Geof O'Keefe's "BEDEMON" MySpace site.....the same band. All those MACABRE, VIRGIN DEATH, STONE BUNNY type names were PENTAGRAM for chrissakes! Anyone who owns the "First Daze Here" vols. I & II know this! Note: This version was doctored/overdubbed as opposed to the 'original' 7" 45 release! The original master may eventually find it's way onto a legitimate release in the very near future. Trust me!

  • I mentioned that it was remastered in the description...would love to have recorded this from the original 7''! Alright, Pentagram was the apex of a long and fickle pursuit of the perfect name for the band. I just considered it separate since a name can really change the entire spirit of the music, carrying out an idea regardless of whether the members changed or not. Guess I over analyzed it. Thanks!

  • No...you didn't over analyze it. The Macabre name was just to avoid PENTAGRAM as being too...you know. Bobby really shouldn't have re-recorded a new guitar part. The original will appear soon. As well as more incredible 'gems', of which I'm not going to speculate on at this time. The third "First Daze Here" will be a killer addition to the trilogy. Geof at this moment is putting the finishing touches to the new BEDEMON recording as I write. The wait will be worth it!

  • @ItinerateWolfMop I agree that a bands name can influence their sound, I don't think Black Sabbath would have sounded the way they did when they were known as Earth.

  • check out stone bunny there the same band

  • Technically not the same band. Stone Bunny was also called Space Meat before Bobby Liebling joined as a singer for a short while. Pentagram was "officially" a different band despite having most (if not all) members from Space Meat at one time or another. But hey, if you have any Stone Bunny or Space Meat, post it!

  • this band rules

  • If you like this check out a band called " Wild Brew Band" on myspace, trust me it's worth it!

  • alguien con la cara tatuada dijo una vez que a leibling le habian cortado lo s brazos por jacoman!

    posta? njaja

  • fucking great song fucking great sound

  • It's just fuckin' amazing that this kinda shit was around in 1972. Goddamn!!

  • Some of the BEST music comes from the early 70's......

You should see my Lp collection!!!

  • @macandjacks rock and roll was at its peak in 72 man! Dont get me wrong this shit is fucking stomping me into the ground but there were alot of other bands that were rockin just as hard. The Dead were at their peak no doubt. SO much energy tho good stuff indeeeeed

  • isn't this Walk in the Blue Light?

  • Nope. The intros do sound the same though.

  • Makes me want to race a vintage Camaro down the backwoods in Canada.

    Love Pentagram.
