Thanks Scott, You are reaffirming my belief in the oneness of all! The Universe is One Substance expressing itself as many. The gold and the jewelry piece is one substance!
"you will never find the line that separates thought and awareness, because thought bleeds out of awareness, there's not two there actually, its just appearance.. in the same way that this body is seamlessly not independent of awareness itself. You can't find where awareness ends in the body, begins, because there is only one here."
human level thought and wonder is a blunder of nature..in my opinion human wonder arose out of the neccessity of survival.."i wonder where those paw imprints lead to?...i wonder what left them?..can i eat what left them?, ect"
after the human being became comfortable, that thought transformed into philosophy..philosophy of things not pertaining to survival..philosophy of things we cannot even convieve..that in itself is fallacious.
Very good. Very clear. Especially like the pointing to the fact that there is no line between thought and awareness - thats so so true......... the one bleeds into the other. And that everything is proof positive that awareness IS............ Yes - that is so true. Thanks.
We can see and feel what God or awareness can see and feel at times, but that only makes us one in awareness, of one mind. The beauty is in diversity, every one with a different view or in another dimension without conflict on important issues, but always a tension to make things interesting and new views exciting. Two halves of the brain have this tension. MRI's show the two halves out of balance. Working together they are balanced, seeing each other as we can see each other and still be us.
This proof is so stark in it's simplicity and jolting in it's power. Guess the mind likes to take credit for alot of things but it could never take credit for the most fundemantal "happening" labeled seeing...which is always ising prior to any happening it seems.
Scott, you're like Annie Sullivan spelling out w-a-t-e-r over and over again. Don't lose faith. All at once it breaks through, and there is joy...and much laughter...and a full life to be lived beyond the silence and the darkness.
But there's a difference between awareness and conscious awareness, don't you think? I can blindly drive down the road and speak on my cell phone and get to where I need without realizing that I am driving, or I can drive down the road and consciously feel every bump, see every tree. Isn't conscious awareness the key so-called enlightenment -- seeing our false thinking? Also, I would ask can awareness exist without the body and mind? Does awareness in your view exist outside of yourself?
Think of awareness as water surrounding a fish, sustains the fish, suspending the fish, is going through the fish and the fish is made of water. So it is both separate and part of the fish. Yes, awareness exists without the body. Consciousness is condensed awareness with an energetic element to it, just like a wave traveling through the water but the water stays in it's place. You are awareness driving around as a condensed, vibrating conscious picking up on random thoughts.

But they're the same 'light' as it were. There isn't an 'ordinary awareness' APART FROM 'conscious awareness'.
