  • Silence kingdomofdalriada. Clans live on so long as there is someone to carry the banner. The bloodlines and allegiances are being celebrated because they still exist. We go because it is a giant family reunion. Good friends and good times. I know Clan Douglas still exists. If any of them needed help, I'd surely be there. That's the allegiance right there, and that forms the clan. Clans need no one else to tell them when and if they can exist. This is not for you.

  • I bought my kilt about a year ago!! Also, I attended collage there in Batesille Ark in 1968 for one semester! Great stuff!! also belong to a local Scottish society and the INTERNATIONAL Innis clan society!!!!

  • That may be so, but I think people having a good time celebrating their heritage is rather harmless.

  • americans dressing up and pretending to be scottish dont know how ridiculous they look to real scottish people.

And some should tyell them that there are no such thing as a scottish clan. That died hundreds of years ago.
