I also have the GC edition and though I crossed by a few glitches, for example the game froze at Cloud 9 (it only happened once), and it certainly slow loading, the game's main problem is its length. Fortunately A Hero's Tail dealt with the problem since it's a little bit longer as no glitches at all

@spyergirl4 I'm a huge Spyro fan. I own the first three games, a Hero's Tail, and the Legend of Spyro series, but anyone with a brain knows that this was not too hot. Some reviewers were a little harsh on the developers, but they had to rush the game to make the release at winter 2002. Unfortunately this pile of trash is the result, but if there's one thing that this game succeeds in, it's definitely the music. ^^

@projectTEEN123 I never found this to be a completely horrible game, but it could be VERY irritating sometimes. If they had taken another year or even another 6 months, it could have been great. And yeah, the music is easily the best part of the game!

@spyergirl4 I recently brought the Gamecube edition, and its a million times better than the original PS2 release. There's nearly no slowdowns at all, no lockups, and barely any glitches. (well I didnt come across any) This is probably because the GC version was released a week after the PS2. Allowing UI to touch-up the game. 'Professional reviewers' still gave the game negative reviews. :( Looking aside ETD's shortcomings, I really, really like this game.
