I have a suggestion that worked great for me, Use Mar-Glass fiberglass reinforced filler over the welded area of the fenders. Once you get the shape most of the way, finish out with Z Grip filler. If you ever use a wire welder, use alloy wire .30-.35 because it wont burn holes nearly as easily. Harbor freight has the welder and wire for under $120 bucks. I respect all the work you have done to your ride, I know all the hours you're putting in because I'm doing my truck right now.
I got offered a pair of 280s for 400 bucks last year and couldn't get em because of money, wish I would have suffered now because he want's 1500 for them both.
Nice work so far man! Are you having it professionally resprayed, or are you doing it yourslef? And I think my exhaust may be on the wrong side at the rear bumper lol.
@iexploderacoons I'm doing it myself. I'll be doing a review for duplicolor's paint shop line of laquer automotive paint. We'll see how it goes. as for your exaust, it's probably how it's supposed to be. The 280z and 280zx cars are totally different besides the engine. The suspension is totally different.
@1skiinIan I'm debating wether or not I want to paint mine. I am not a huge fan of body work, but I will see, I was thinking about doing a different color but then I would have to remove everything from the inside and paint in there as well. And I looked it up, you were right, it is on the correct side.
@iexploderacoons also, who knows what you'll find under the paint. that's what happened with me. there ended up being a lot more rust and previous work under the paint. Wouldn't recomend doing it unless you have to
@1skiinIan Ture, but I have some spots were missing. I may have to paint in order to prevent rusting. But I know what you mean with what may be under it.

@Wipsplash I got one. It's in the video at the end. I'm using .30 wire. You can see It's a gas one if you look closely
