But why is it that only the first layer of pastry puffs up, leaving that pasta like deliciousness underneath?

Do u know Fray Bentos city? Here in Fray Bentos we have the building of the former Anglo Meat Factory that exported corned beef & other products to England during the II W.W. Now it lodges the Museum of the industrial Revolution(pretty interesting to visit).

I´m sorry... nope, there's no free pies, but you can get a great time in Fray Bentos city and you can also visit the museum of Industrial Revolution. It's located in the former "Anglo Meat Factory"; the same one that exported all these meat products during the second world war. Really Interesting to visit.
