  • i was at this show..poor hour for bowie, band tooooo slick, excuse the pun. not great

  • Bowie at his best. One good tight tempo with excellent ensemble and lights and sound system and presto...Ziggy!

  • this song rocks....especially live....although i m a bit biased...i remember when it first came out....lol....showing my age a bit there i think...lol

  • You can tell how his songs have changed over time to suit his voice. I love his ziggy period but this felt kind of off somehow. Still brilliant though.

  • BOWIE JE T AIME 4EVER

  • the bitter really does come out better on a stolen guitar

  • Bowie ... he looks like a new star!!!!!

  • YAY! The original spiders!!! I love Bowie and especially this song..

  • Sir David and Princess Gail-

  • Excellent

  • Man this song is epic!! BTW the lp the rise and fall of ziggy stardust and the spiders from mars is a masterpiece!!

  • The song that launched the "punk rock" sound.

The Ramones stole their riffs from this one song.

  • One of my favorite Ziggy Stardust era tunes!

  • wie fetzig haha

  • You are not getting the Spirit of the Era when you only reflect on yourself. Too bad you people who followed this route only to criticise. Despite the crude nature of the camera work it shows an era you couldn't dream to emulate

  • @YKTurner1 Couldn't have said it better. Bowie is a true artist and he helped shape that era. Shame the kids today can't appreciate his talent and his ability to push it to the limit and dare to try new things.

He didn't evolve with music for decades, music followed his lead. A classic artist, his music will live forever.

  • Hey, I'm one of the younger (90s) generation and Bowie's a fucking LEGEND!!! Don't assume that none of us know what awesome musc REALLY is.

  • Indeed. Not many people realise that this song dates from 1971! And look how it swings, rocks, does everything! No modern artist can make a hit with this tempo nowadays. Know when you see a Genius at work guys!

  • shame on you

  • tee hee!

  • OMG AMAZING SONG!!! why is he not more known today???????? best songs i no come from him!

i think my generation has the worst taste in music (the 2000's )

  • Hey blkbltgr107,

Don't fret....those of us who grew up with this in the70s thought we were catching the death throes of Rock and Roll...We regretted the breakup of the beatles Hendrix's death etc.

  • @blkbltgrl07 i agree with you i hate the modern music it has no message what so ever if you listen to bowie you will find more than one message in his music and i like that about him he is great!

  • saw him in NJ 2004... the encore with this song/suffragette city and finishing with ziggy was incredible..... wish he would tour again.

  • I don't know what to say Bowie always, still great!

  • The immage of this band,

does no justice to the original ~«q~_×p»~

  • I want to be like him at 60!

  • this is one of my fav david bowie songs! its pretty under rated. go bowie! haha.
