@madmankitchen You obviously don't know that they have been made in Ohio for about 80 years or that more than 700 different fast food chains and smoothie bars use these machines.
I love my Vita Mix...seriously, I adore it...BUT...do not make scrambled eggs in it! Not only were they nasty and inedible, but they made an awful mess of my machine. It took forever to clean all that baked on egg off of the container and under and around the blades. Trust me...don't do it. Some things are just meant to be cooked on the stove! LOL!

Others have scoffed and said that any high speed blender does the same thing. I used to think the same thing. The Vitamix is the only way to go. I was out of powdered sugar one day and slung some regular sugar into the vitamix and had powdered sugar in a few seconds. Actually, I had HOT powdered sugar those blades move so fast.
I have a Vita-mix and yes, it cooks the eggs. If you are comparing this to a Walmart blender, you may as well compare a Mercedes to a Hyundai. I know people who have had their Vita-mix for 20 years. The eggs in this recipe are okay - I prefer them made over the stove top but this is how I make my dog food. It's healthy, cheaper in the long run and he gulfs it all up.
@tarunramesh These US made blenders are serious business.... the motor is like rated at 5 amps... they friction from the blending heats up the eggs... you can make soup that way too.
WOW, i LOVE my vitamix blender, but i just tried this with it. yea, um, thanks. i'll stick with my electric wok to make my scrambled eggs (my dogs did thouroughly enjoy whatever that was that came from the blender though :)
I have a vitamix, but I wouldnt have it on at high for 5 mins. I cant stand the noise. It is one loud piece of kitchen equipment at high.

Jesus, It's scrambled eggs. One of the easiest things to make. Why do it in a blender?
